Feature Friday: Marsha Peacock Photography
Meredith Gradle • July 21, 2016

Hello friends! I am Marsha Peacock and I am a lifestyle photographer in rural Alberta, Canada. I am surrounded in soft prairie grasses, rolling hills and wide open skies!

My focus areas are predominantly wedding and family photography; but I love every opportunity to snuggle babies during newborn sessions. Since, my work requires a lot of travel, which keeps things fresh and exciting for my creative soul. From intimate mountain weddings to lively backyard family sessions; I am happiest when shooting connection, interaction and everyday life.

Photography has always been something that I relished. As a kid I had my own camera and photographed our family dogs, my cute little sisters, and of course every trip to the mountains meant oodles of mountain shots. When our son was born, my point and shoot just didn’t make the grade anymore and I was determined to learn. I wanted great photos of our family enjoying everyday life. I was hooked. My business was created in 2013 and has grown busier than I could ever have dreamt. I am so blessed to spend my days doing something so rewarding!

Facts about me:

1. I love coffee, but I have a 3pm cut off or there is no sleeping for this lady!
2. I am a Petroleum Engineer turned photographer.
3. I love of animals and once considered becoming a veterinarian.
