Tracy Anderson, tell us a little about yourself!

My name is Tracy Anderson. I’m a natural light photographer, boymom, wife, UGA Bulldog and Philly girl living in the South (Greensboro, NC). I’m addicted to coffee, the original Law & Orders, cupcakes, my cat Percy and providing relaxed, colorful sessions for my clients.



What do you specialize in? 

I specialize in family and senior photography

How did you first get started in photography?

Started with travel and vacation photography and slowly started to shoot friends and family. Became obsessed after taking a class in NYC prior to our trip to Italy in 2002. Started my business officially in 2007!



How has using Iris impacted your business?

I have been using Iris since it was early in its existence. I’m way more organized and I feel like it presents a more professional face to my clients. My favorite features are the lead function and invoicing! Just started using both and it’s helped streamline my communication with clients. Love it so much.



What are your future goals for your business? What are you looking forward to?

To provide beautiful photographs that help families stop time for a little bit. I hope my business continues to supplement my family’s income and gives me the flexibility to focus on my family while doing what I love.



If you could go back to when you first started in photography, what advice would you give yourself?

Do you. Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Focus on continual improvement, shooting what you love and making your clients happy.
