My name is Gloria and I am a South Florida based natural light portrait photographer. I was born in Managua, Nicaragua, migrated with my family to Miami in 1994 and now call sunny South Florida my home!
I am happily married to an incredibly supportive man, my greatest friend and college sweetheart, George. I am the lucky mommy to three inspiring girls, Gia, Eva and Eli and one miniature schnauzer named Uno that makes our hearts especially happy.
I chose this profession somewhat in a roundabout way. I studied Political Science and Women Studies in college and worked in higher education for many years. I was a painter and illustrator in my earlier years and always dreamed of doing something related to art. I followed my instincts and in August 2014, as a part time venture, I launched my photography business specializing in newborns, maternity, engagements, seniors and family photography. In January 2015 I became a full time photographer and have not looked back since!
Beyond the lens, I am an all or nothing kind of girl, love happy tears, slow mornings, succulents, tulips, peonies, cooking (would have loved to be a chef) and I am obsessed with mangos and tea. I am afraid of the ocean, I could live on sushi, I love old movies, I don’t drink caffeine, I have a weak spot for antiquing and thrifting, I love the sound of vinyl records, I homeschool one of my girls, I know how to sew, and I love naps!
